You are an operative trapped in a time loop in Active Matter, a premium extraction shooter developed by Matter Team. Set in quantum-unstable zones filled with the mysterious resource known as active matter, the game challenges you to survive physics-defying anomalies, harvest valuable materials, and outmaneuver rival operatives in both PvE and PvPvE raids. The unique properties of active matter create dynamic environments and unpredictable encounters, making every session a fight not just for survival, but for control over your fate.

Quantum-Unstable Zones and Extraction Raids

Enter zones warped by active matter, where gravitational anomalies shift terrain and SCP-inspired objects defy logic. Players can tackle these areas solo or in squads, scavenging loot and battling rival operatives or AI-controlled threats. The ultimate goal is to extract before the zone collapses, erasing everything inside. The ticking clock and the danger of unpredictable anomalies ensure high-stakes gameplay.

Realistic Weapons and Multiverse Gear

Your arsenal in Active Matter is grounded in real-world military technology, but the influence of active matter introduces items from alternate timelines. These unique weapons and gear can be replicated and upgraded at your syndicate base, offering intriguing strategic possibilities. Despite the chaos of the multiverse, combat tactics and realistic weapon mechanics remain at the core of the gameplay.

Syndicates and PvP Conflicts

Syndicate battles are the heart of the game’s PvP experience, as operatives compete to control passive sources of active matter. Whether you craft gear on-site or bring your best loadout, these battles impact the larger struggle to break free from the time loop. Each victory brings you closer to unlocking the secrets of active matter and rewriting your destiny.

Atmospheric Maps Beyond Space and Time

From rusting Soviet industrial ruins to enigmatic science labs, Active Matter features maps that exist outside normal space and time. Each location holds clues to the origins of active matter, rewarding exploration with narrative depth and environmental storytelling.
