Buried Stars is a narrative-driven mystery adventure developed by Studio LARGO, set in the aftermath of a catastrophic collapse during a live survival audition show. Players navigate tense interactions among the trapped contestants, who use social media to communicate both with each other and the outside world. As trust erodes and secrets emerge, the game's strongest feature is its focus on psychological dynamics and intricate character relationships under pressure.

Social Media Mechanics

A central gameplay element is the use of social media to influence events and uncover truths. Contestants rely on this tool to share information, manipulate perceptions, and reveal hidden motives. These mechanics add layers to the storytelling, letting players explore the impact of public narratives on private actions.

Character-Driven Survival

Buried Stars emphasizes interpersonal conflict and decision-making. Each trapped contestant has unique motivations and secrets, creating shifting alliances and growing tension. Player choices directly affect relationships, influencing the outcome of the story and the possibility of survival.
