Gorilla Tag, developed by Another Axiom Inc., is a VR game that offers a unique locomotion method utilizing only hand and arm movements, eliminating the need for controllers or teleportation. A standout feature is the "Paintbrawl" mode, where players engage in team-based paintball battles using slingshots. This premium game includes various modes such as "Tag," "Infection," and "Hunt," each offering distinct gameplay experiences. The game supports crossplay with PC, enabling players to join friends across platforms in this virtual jungle environment.

Unique Locomotion Mechanics

Gorilla Tag employs a hand-based locomotion system, allowing players to run, climb, and jump by physically pushing off surfaces. This method provides an intuitive VR experience, requiring only hand movements to navigate and interact with the environment. The easy-to-learn mechanics challenge players to master their movements, adding depth to the gameplay as they parkour up trees and cliff faces.

Diverse Game Modes

The game offers four distinct modes: "Tag," "Infection," "Hunt," and "Paintbrawl." Each mode caters to different player preferences, from simple tag games to strategic team battles. "Hunt" introduces a unique challenge by assigning personal targets, while "Paintbrawl" involves competitive paintball matches. These varied modes enhance replayability and ensure engaging experiences for all players.

Customization and Crossplay

Players can visit the in-game store located in the City to purchase items, enhancing their gorilla persona with cosmetic upgrades. The game includes 5,000 Shiny Rocks with purchase, facilitating initial customization. Crossplay functionality allows players to connect with others on different platforms, fostering a shared gaming experience across VR and PC versions.
