Master of Command is a real-time tactical strategy game developed by Armchair Interactive, set against the backdrop of the Seven Years' War. The game focuses on managing an army, making strategic decisions, and engaging in decisive battles. What sets Master of Command apart is its Real-Time Campaign, where players navigate a map filled with fog of war, facing unpredictable encounters and a mobile enemy presence. Your choices affect every aspect of your army's survival and success, making each campaign unique.

Real-Time Tactical Battles

In Master of Command, battles are determined by morale, stamina, terrain, and timing. Troops react to pressure, break when outflanked, and rally when supported, making each encounter a test of tactical acumen. A well-timed charge or retreat can shift the tide of battle, often favoring the commander who exercises discipline over sheer numbers. Victory isn't guaranteed by having a larger force, but by managing troops effectively.

Fully Customizable Regiments

Players can equip their regiments with historical equipment and weapons, impacting their accuracy, stamina, and morale. Line infantry can be outfitted with rifles for precision, cylindrical ramrods for faster reloads, or field musicians to boost morale. Customization extends to flags and uniforms, allowing you to create a unique identity for your units. Supplies are finite, and every choice affects your army's performance over the campaign.

Procedural Campaign

Each region in Master of Command offers a procedurally generated landscape obscured by fog of war. The objective is to locate and destroy the enemy's encampment, but the path is filled with varied challenges like ambushes and battlefield wreckage. Terrain impacts movement and supply consumption, creating dynamic and unpredictable campaigns. Enemy armies adapt to your presence, ensuring no two campaigns are the same.
